Hike Mount Falcon
- Lookout Trail: easy 1.4 mile out and back
- Upper Loop: moderate 3.9 miles
- Castle Trail Loop: moderate 7.4 miles
- Attend the Golden Farmers Market at 8am on Saturday
- Walk around downtown Golden and grab a bite or beer at one of the many restaurants, we like New Terrain and The Golden Mill
Rent a tube and float down the water in Golden
Rent a kayak or paddle board at Evergreen Lake
- Rent a car and visit Rocky Mountain National Park. Reservations to enter the park are required and can be booked online
- Drive the scenic Trail Ridge Road, a 48 mile transverse across the park
- Hike one of the many beautiful trails in the park. "All Trails" is a hiking app where you can search for trails. Here are a couple recommendations:
- Emerald Lake Trail: highly trafficked, easy 3.2 mile out and back trail that takes you passed multiple mountain lakes
- The Loch via Glacier Gorge Trail: moderate 5.4 mile out and back trail that takes you along waterfalls and a more remote mountain lake
Rent a pontoon boat for the day at Grand Lake
Visit Boulder and shop on Pearl Street or enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants
Head to Denver for a Rockies game at Coors Field
